H.O.D is Hoe Design Architect and HOD Design Consultancy. We are architect, furniture designer and interior designer, and we market H.O.D designed furniture products. H.O.D stands for Hoe Design as well as House Of Design, as we aspire to be a home that germinates, nurtures, develops and propagates quality architecture, furniture products and interior design.

We are LAM (Board Of Architects Malaysia) registered architect’s firm providing full scope of architectural services from conceptual design, design development, tender documentation, contract and project administration, to completion of the project. We provide modern contemporary furniture design service. We market H.O.D brand furniture and products exclusively designed by us and manufactured by our established partnering manufacturers to individual users, sourcing companies and distributors. We provide modern contemporary interior design service tailor-made according to each project’s requirements, which emphasizes on spatial quality, user experience and functionality.

H.O.D always endeavour to create architecture, furniture products and interior design that are connected to people. We aspire to evoke awareness of cultural roots, whereby the values are extracted, distilled and imbued into our designs, and reinterpreted with contemporary design vocabulary. Our works are crafted through contextually sensitive designs that people are emotionally attached to.

From 2017 to 2020, H.O.D have been invited to contribute furniture designs for the acclaimed Professional Designers Programme (PDP), an event organized annually by the Malaysian Timber Industry Council under the support of the Ministry of Plantation Industries And Commodities Malaysia to showcase latest furniture designs from international and local designers to encourage the transformation of local furniture industries towards Original Design Manufacturing (ODM), held in conjunction with the Export Furniture Exhibition (EFE) and South East Asia’s biggest furniture fair in Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF).
